I established Mariposa Coaching with the view of offering affordable coaching and training across the N Somerset, Bath and Bristol area and to travel further afield if needed too. I also had a vision to work out of complimentary health venues working alongside other therapists. So when I met Sarah Kelloway, part of the Bath Health Heroes from Rooted Earth Therapies (www.rootedearththerapies.co.uk), on one of my workshops I felt a kindred spirit and it felt natural to promote each other. We started working collaboratively by offering discounts off my workshops for her clients and she was offering discounts for mine off her beautiful massage treatments.
I always felt that Bath is a very welcoming City and when I met Angus from The Practice Rooms in Bath ( www.thepracticerooms.co.uk therapy & counselling in Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Salisbury & Exeter) I knew that this would be an ideal venue to run Mariposa Coaching workshops. I ran my first Making the most of your time: getting the balance right workshop there in February.
At the time Picnic Coffee Shop, Saracen St in Bath had asked me to deliver a sustainable wellbeing talk in the evening which had gone really well. It was at this workshop that I met and started to get to know the lovely Anne-Marie, another Bath Health Heroes member from Rose Holistic Treatments (www.roseholistictreatments.co.uk).
I was already thinking more and more about the benefits of delivering Mariposa Coaching services in Bath. I recently set up a workshop in Enhancing your parenting skills, 10.9.16 11-1pm, at Bath Practice Rooms as the start of a series of workshops in this area. So when I was approached by Owen Morgan, Massage Therapy and BOF fitness Training, (www.owenmorganmassagetherapy.co.uk) and was asked to join the Bath Health Heroes I jumped at the chance.
