It is worth considering what we can do for ourselves and others particularly as this week is #mentalhealthawarenessweek. It is important to make wellbeing part of your agenda. There is help and support out there and realistically we can probably all do a little more to look after our wellbeing. So what are you doing for yourself this week? What helps you to relax and reboot your system? Looking after yourself brings out the best in you to be the best for your relationships too. If you think of your brain like a bank, you can't keep endlessly withdrawing from it without putting the odd deposit in. So this picture of carp was my 'deposit'..checking out the fish and stopping to pause for a bit to take photos in the sunshine and watch them swim around...pretty cool! I run a Nurture yourself reduce the stress in your life workshop if you or anyone else could benefit from keeping focused and motivated but have more awareness of when we can tip into stress. We finish off with some relaxation in the form of mindfulness too. You will learn to be your own stress management coach.
