1st birthday party - essential body maintenance

I was invited to Essential Body Maintenance yesterday for its first birthday. It was a really chilled out afternoon with be fizz, prizes, mini treatments available and of course cake!

Rebecca Porter runs the practice and the business works out of a really pretty house in the windmill hill area where the houses are all different colours on the hillside in true Bristol style.

I have never had a manicure before...growing up in a generation of just slap on some nail varnish and go I never really understood what cuticles were and how to pay attention to them! So this was the result:

There were many prizes to be won and Mariposa Coaching offered a one hour introduction to mindfulness gift voucher..looking forward to running this session with the lucky winner.

As well as a goodie bag to take away there was a voucher from Essential Body Maintenance for the new service for men. This is something new that has been set up and Rebecca states on the page it 'provides treatments to improve appearance and confidence in our increasingly image conscious world' and includes foot treatments, waxing, brows and 'man-e-cure'. This will run alongside the usual service for women.

What is really important about the treatments that Rebecca does is that she 'actively sources ethical products that are cruelty free, providing services that are kind to people, kind to animals and kind to the environment.' My goodie bag contained a locally sourced product made from purely coconut butter, almond oil and orange oil...beautiful.

So a big thank you to Rebecca and if you are interested in finding out more contact Essential Body Maintenance on 07712 285194.
